Now look what I've done. Gold Disk has me so upset that I listed the wrong upgrade. The upgrade I ordered in October was from 1.2 to 1.3, not 1.1 to 1.2. At one time I also considered waiting patiently for an upgrade to Pro Draw 2.0, but on second thought maybe I'll buy a Mac and get some support for a change.

October 1989 to April 1990 is sure a long time to wait for a piece of mail! I completely agree with your feelings regarding customer support from Gold Disk and from other Amiga vendors especially Word Perfect as of late. I ordered the CG Font set from Gold Disk two months ago. I called them last week to check on my order. They had no record of it in their computer! I had ordered over the phone and could hear the order taker punching it into the computer as she took it during the original order. When you call the tech support line, it is impossible to get through. I am convinced they simply leave the phone off the hook. I have been having nothing but trouble with Transcript, their 'word procesor.' It is a disaster and full of bugs (as is almost _every_ major software release for this machine.) I can never get anyone at tech support who knows anything about the program, or has even used it in more than a cursory way! Call them again. No doubt they have lsot your order.

You're right – I would probably be making a big mistake to think that they might possibly act on the message I've left here alone. It's really too bad, because their software *could* be some of the best in any of the three big markets, if they would concentrate their efforts a little better. It's frustrating. I must make it a point to take time out from work and listen to their busy signal – I mean give them a call. Thanks for your support – it's more than I'm getting from Gold Disk.
