I have seven years experience in the industry. My former employer was Valley Public Television KVPT TV Channel 18 1544 Van Ness, Fresno, California 93721. My immediate supervisor was Roger Hixon and he can be reached at (209) 266-1800. My reasons for leaving the station is directly related to budget cutbacks at the station. My duties included the airing of programs and promos as directed by the program log, recording of programs off the PBS network, putting together cluster reels as needed, setting up cameras and associated equipment for live and recorded productions, maintaining proper audio and video levels and taking the required transmitter meter readings in order to keep the station with in FCC regulations. I am familiar with the operation and minor maintenance of the following equipment: Sony 5000, 9800 series Umatic VTR's, Ampex 1100/1200 2 inch VTR's, Sony VBU300 cameras, GE/Eastman film chain, Hitachi CCD cameras, Grass Valley MA21 Master Control, some of the Orband TV stereo systems, and most of the Tektronics line. I also have some experience with a RCA 30C UHF TV transmitter. I have experience working with DOS and 386 based computers. I am a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers Chapter 66 located in Fresno Caifornia My hobbies include Amateur radio and scuba diving. I am available for immediate employment.
