As I mentioned in my messages, I did have the opportunity to sit next to a
BYTE reporter. He indicated that past "injustices" were probably due to
BYTE keeping coverage in proportion to overall market share (I pointed out
that this has a stifling effect on the marketplace). He also said that
since he's been on board (1.5 years) he has seen one very knowledgeable and
enthusiastic Amigaphile come on board where there were none before and that
he feels that the presence of people with a particular bent tends to
"percolate" (his word) discussion into that area. So perhaps there MIGHT
be reason for optimism (guarded though it might be).
