About the '030 vs 040. Note that the first generation 040 chips are 25Mhz. These should just drop into a 25 MHz system. The dead products are the >> 25 Mhz '030 systems, why do all that EXPENSIVE extra engineering when the next CPU doesn't need it. For my money (and I would have put my deposit down today if my local dealer had a firm price for the 100MB box!) CA made the right decision to keep the base cost of the box low and then, I hope, kill the competition with an equally low cost upgrade when 040s ship in quantity. By the way, when are you shipping C Toolbox, my check cleared some weeks ago?

Kevin, re the toolshed, we've been shipping for some time. I don't find a record of your order – better email me the details and I'll UPS BLue it to you immediately. Don't know what happened! ok, a 25 mhz 040 will drop in for a 25 mhz 030. So, a 40 Mhz 040 would drop in for a 40 mhz 030. Better. :^) Ben Amateur Radio Callsign is A A 7 A S
