I just went to the World of Amiga yesterday. The show was great! I
Commodore had a very professional booth (best I've ever seen from them).
They had several Amiga 3000s visible. Psygnosis demo-ed several games
including "Awesome" and they all looked great. Another guy was taking
orders for an 8 MHz PC clone that fits inside the RAM expansion port of the
Amiga 500. This expansion still provides the extra 512K while also adding
PC XT compatability although it appears to take over the entire machine.
Free Spirit Software demo-ed a system diagnostic utility called Doctor Ami.
This utility includes a harddisk check that prevents further access of bad
disk areas. I also includes RAM checks. There was no sign of
Readysoft/AMAX.
