when should i expect my upgrade to arrive? i gave the dealer the check and
the disk a week ago. are new buyers of the software priority or is upgrades
for registered users a priority?

The procedure is supposed to be:
1) end-user gives dealer disk #1.
2) dealer sends Adesk disk #1 within 24 hours.
3) Adesk sends dealer or end-user back 3DSr2 package within 5-7 working
days.
The whole process usually takes 7-10 days for AutoCAD upgrades, so
hopefully it won't take longer than that for 3DS.
Note that neither category (new users or upgrades) are a priority. All
orders are handled as they come in the mail.

Gary my dealer says only beta sites can bet 3DSr2 directly from Autodesk.
Who would know more about the end user getting it directly from Autodesk?
They also are saying atleast 15 days from the time they send it to
Autodesk.

Rick, you should probably listen to your dealer. I'm not very current on
the upgrade details. In fact, I'm supposed to be on vacation right now.
