Does this mean that I have to run my Multimedia machine with both DOS and
OS/2 partitions? Being a reviewer and thus loading alien software all the
time OS/2 with DOS/Windows emulation seemed like a dream-come-true.
Can someone explain Phar Lap, or is it hidden in the manual somewhere. I
thought Phar Lap was a horse. Ani Pro exits with a heap of errors on my
system like Phar Lap fatal err 10026.
I have completed the tutorial up to 12-47 and am now suffering from chronic
boredom. OK I have worked out the translation between clicks and my
stylus, but I would prefer never to see another graph again. I have looked
through the reference manual and Mastering Animator, but can't seem to find
the right way to go about animating handwriting across a screen. Can you
give me a hint? I'd like to write a note across the notebook graphic.

I think the easiest way to simulate handwriting is to write the complete
note on one frame. Then repeat the following procedure as necessary: copy
the frame and erase from the end of the handwritten line a desired amount.
Once you are back to a clear screen, use the FLIC menu, Options, Reverse to
reverse the order of the frames.
(Now that I think about it you could also use a Optics path to draw the
note [then for example if it were a spline path you could adjust it], then
use the FLIC menu, effects, trailing, zero clear (or Key clear), to see the
continuous path of your "pen". (Once you have this path you could also
track a cel of a pencil for example along the same path.
