Hi Anthony, You now have two great choices! The Pro Audio Plus MPC upgrade kit, or the Pro Audio 16 MPC upgrade kit. These two kits give you fast MPC compliant CD ROM drives, plus each card has SB compatibility for running all the games! I would highly recommend the Pro 16 MPC kit because it bundles the NEC 83m double speed drive. Doug Cody (filling in for Ken)

Doug, Thanks for the reply, I'm really impressed by your Co's support/image/service (whatever) Really helpful on the phone, faxed me 24pages of info (len backus). Thanks. > You now have two great choices! The Pro Audio Plus MPC upgrade kit, or the >Pro Audio 16 MPC upgrade kit. I You will be pleased to hear that I have just ordered my PRO 16 MPC upgrade kit, I felt that for the xtra $200 I might as well go for the best of everything! I also wanted the xtra software and a copy of windows 3.1. >would highly recommend the Pro 16 MPC kit because it bundles the NEC 83m >double speed drive. Thats what I thought, I have just bought my tower case and plan to move from a desktop to it to make room for the CD drive when it arrives. BTW are the kits shipping in ernest now? And what *exactly* will I get in the way of software with the new Kit? Best Regards Anthony

I desperately would like to purchase the CD-ROM package you did, but I need an external CD-Rom drive. If there is a way of changing the 83M or something like that. Thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin, >I desperately would like to purchase the CD-ROM package you did, but I need an >external CD-Rom drive. If there is a way of changing the 83M or something like >that. Thanks Mine has not arrived yet! But I think that there is an external version of the 83M. The best thing to do is download CDROM.TXT a file of PSL's product file, or leave a message for Nelson Ford from PSL here. He is very helpful. Ok? Anthony

Anthony, I'm pleased to hear that you've purchase the Pro Multimedia 16. Yes, the kits are most definitely shipping 'in earnest' now. Rather than list all of the software you'll be getting here, I'll just take this opportunity to mention that the first kits going out won't have Kings Quest 5 in them. What you get is a coupon that can be exchanged for the next release of KQ5 when it becomes available. In lieu of KQ5, we are sending Sierra's Mixed-Up Mother Goose to those customers. Let me know when you get your kit. Ken

Great, I hope Psl get their stock in quick as I am becoming increasingly impatient 🙂 >In lieu of KQ5, we are sending Sierra's Mixed-Up Mother Goose to those >customers. Thanks, I'm sure I'll have just as much fun with Mother Goose and a grown up Kid ! >Let me know when you get your kit. I hope I will be telling you real soon. Anthony
