Please can you tell me where I can get hold of a catalogue of CDROMs
available. My interest is in reference mainly, on a wide variety of
subjects (I am a translator, for my sins!).

You'll find a list in the libraries here of a number of CD ROMs carried by
PSL. BEP, also in this forum, has a great catalog. NAUTILUS has a small
(but growing) CD ROM Directory every issue. Other than that, your best bet
would be to check out the various computer stores and mail order catalogs.
