Resolution Q

I have what is most likely a dumb question, but I can't figure it out… Sometimes when I load an image from ADPro (2.1.3) into DPaint, DPaint reads it as a different resolution than ADPro. For instance, cropping an image to 704×480, saving it and then loading it into DPaint will give me 736X480 in DPaint. If I load it back into ADPro, it says it is 704. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?? -JG

John, I've had the same problem too. I'm using DPaint IV. Is that what you're using. Kevin Ushko Edmonton, Alberta

John, I've done a bit testing, and DPIV only seems to know two sizes of overscan: STD (352 x 480, 352 x 240, 704 x 480 , 704 x 240) and MAX (368 x 482, 368 x 241, 704 x 482, 704 x 241). Any overscan picture loaded in will use one of the page sizes listed. So if you want to use DPIV you will have to render to these sizes, or scale the images before loading into DP. Kevin, That makes sense (although I think you mean 736×482 for max…) but I've had images go both ways…e.g. I've taken a 704 wide image from Dpaint and load it into ADPro and ADPro states that its 640 wide or vice versa. JG
