Has anyone got a manufacturer's name and location of any company producing large size CD ROM jukeboxes? I remember seeing something mentioned at AIIM 2 years ago but it was not available then. This unit could take 100+ disks. Malcolm Seymour

There still is nothing on the market in the way of an "off-the-shelf" CD ROM jukebox that handle lots of discs and multiple drives. The closest is the KubiK box (it may be Kubic) that has been in testing, alpha, beta, pilot production, etc, since 1987. It is based on the Kodak Carousel Slide projector theory. UMI has been demonstrating this box at a couple of their installations. The unit holds 240 discs and up to 4 drives. As far as I know there is nothing else currently available.

Thanks Owen. Any idea where UMI is located? Is that the manufacturer or distributor? If you give me the city I will trace them. Malcolm
