Hi all, I have just found a 3 1/2 inch Fuji Electric Hard-Disk inside an old XT that was given to me for parts. It was connected to a Western Digital controller, so I assume it is an MFM disk. I need to know the tech data on it though, as I may be able to connect it to my Amiga 1000 by way of the "Wedge". Remember that? 🙂 Anyway, the only markings re model number are FK309-26. Can anyone give me the info I need? i.e. Number of heads, tracks per sector, number of sectors, etc.? Any help is appreciated. David, I've not looked at the file for a long time, but we have a file in Library 9 of AmigaUser that might help: DRIVES.ARC 9 5K 02-06-89 No. of hds, cyls, etc. for 153 hard disks!! Betty

David, The FK309-26 is a 21 Meg HD, 4 heads, 17 sectors per track, 615 cylinders MFM drive. 50 to 80 ms average access time. Write Precompensentation is cylinder 616….in other words, you don't need to worry about it. Don
