I would like to know if it is possible to convert an IFF picture into a GIF
picture. For example, if I digitize a picture and wish to upload it to a
Forum that is not Amiga specific, how would I do this? Thank you for any

Look for a program called something like IFF2GIF in the libs here…
GO AMIGAFF (amiga filefinder and search keywords).
