To any all knowledgeable ATonce!Plus people!
Hi, I just have a small question concerning the ATonceplus. I keep
reading ads about all the things it can do, but I have yet to see anything
that indicates that you can use the expansion connectors in the A2000 once
the ATonce is installed. Can you? I mean, I would love to have the ATonce
abilities as I do have some DOS <yuck> applications that I could do at home
for work, but it would be necessary for me to have VGA which would require
a VGA board to be installed. Can anyone answer this one??? I'd much

The only PC emulator boards that allow use of the bridged PC slots on the
A2000/3000 series computers are the CBM BridgeBoards. However, I thought
that ATOncePlus supported VGA output, of sorts (B&W?)

The current ATonce cards do not make use of the PC slots in the A2000, but
it is rumored that Vortex has announced a 386 card in Europe that will. You
may want to wait a while and see.
The current ATonce cards have VGA, but in monochrome only (in other words,
resolution but no color).

At WOC in Toronto last December I saw an ATonce! Plus running the Windows
Solitaire game on a mono interlaced screen with the Workbench screen pulled
down in front of it. Pretty impressive. 16MHz. Better than a BB, IMHO.
