Message Longevity?

How long do questions stay up on this forum? I notice every few days
they are reset to 0, deleting even unanswered questions. Don't you think
that unanswered questions should be left a little linger?

it looks to me as if messages stick around for a week or so. I just
checked the header (which you will see everytime you come into the forum)
and there are over 500 messages here. The number went up around 50 since
yesterday.

Messages stay on this forum for a week to ten days. They aren't deleted by
me, there are only so many message slots so the oldest message "scrolls"
when a new one is posted.
You prbably see zeros when you do a MESSAGE;SELECT because your AGE setting
is set to show you only NEW messages in each section.
