Hi all. I'd like some information on 3D STUDIO (r2). I've been doing raytracing on an Amiga 3000 for a while and now I'm looking for a GOOD 3D prg for my 80386. By the way, if there are any incompatibilities with my hardware please tell me. I own a 80386/387 33mhz 4mb RAM SVGA (Tseng Et4000). And, of course, the info I want is about the price. 🙂 Sergio

Price is 3K Sergio. A little more pricey than most Amiga stuff, but by far the best value on the PC platform.

Ooops, a LITTLE more pricey? 🙂 (Sculpt4D is 300$ or so..!). Anyway thanks a lot for answering. Sergio

3DSr2 should work ok on your system, but I would recommend more RAM. A minimum of 8 megs. I run 32 megs. As far as prices, I'll have to defer that question to the dealers… Kevin? Are you listening? For details on r2 download the press releases here in this forum. -MM
