Mike: The messages in this section have been, shall we say, "sparse" thus far, and anything interesting probably has scrolled off by now. OTOH (CompuServe shorthand for "On the other hand"), there always seem to be a few folks ready to respond, including James Gleick and Rudy Rucker from time to time, so feel free to throw out suggestions, ideas, questions, or any other musings. – Mark M.

One small problem is that Chaos covers a wide range of interest – not just pretty computer generated pictures! There is activity elsewhere – the Science forum, Comart etc. Unfortunately, the umpteenth time you've draw a Mandelbrot set or Julia set or… it starts to pall. And with the best will in the world the discussions you will get here would probably be more about the pictures than anything else. I've posted Chaos related stuff elsewhere (it's part of my Ph.D. research area) but only where it's been relevant to me or the forum. I keep checking here but very little so far, and I can't see why it should change. But we can hope…. regards, Phil
