Does anyone know if the U-lowel or DMI or Ameristar add-on graphics boards let you use a real Workstation monitor, as opposed to the tiny Commodore 1950. I am looking for something where I can have 4 full sized xterms, or whatever, on the same screen. You know, like a real Unix workstation. Something like a 19" Sony Trinitron monitor.

The UofL board works best on a 'real' workstation monitor. I have a Tatung monitor that's basically similiar to the 1950 in capability, and have yet to get the UofL board functioning properly, but the same card was running great on a 19" monitor at my dealer (before I bought it from them).

Yup. We have a DMI resolver hooked up to a CadVision monitor (20", dunno who makes it, it's not on my machine 🙁 ). Today must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
