Hi, Can you specify what CDROM do you have? I'm using MAGNAVOX SX/20 which
comes with internal SONY 535-01 CDROM (IDE interface) and I'm running it
with DOS 5.0. I even load all drivers in high memory which leave 600K to
play with. I'll be glad to help if it's what you neeed.

Where did you get the stuff for the sony 535 with the IDE interface? How
much does it cost and most importantly, does it allow you to have other
drives present.
I just installed a sony 535 in my 386-33. I have a 1.4 meg and a 1.2 meg
drive AND a tape backup installed.
When I installed the CD, I could no longer use both of my floppy drives. I
have not yet tried the tape backup.
Another question. Since I already have a IDE card, can I patch the CDROM
directly into the existing cable?????
Any help would be appreciated.
