#Second Page Blank!

Ric: I also have the second page blank problem others have mentioned. It seems to come and go, with the only pattern being this: If it kicks out a second blank page, it will only be for the FIRST printing — in other words, if I print the same document twice, the first time it will kick out the blank page, and the second printing won't!!! I just got a second blank page printed with a page less than 1/2 full of text. I have been playing around with the margins and printable area, but due to the problem above, when I seem to have fixed it, the problem crops up again. Here is a rundown of my system: Amiga 3000 Kickstart 37.175, WB 37.67 (2.04) Kickstart on disk. 2M Chip, 4Meg Fast. No boards. MultiClock, Silicon Menus, NickPrefs, ToolsX running in background. Deskjet 500C printer, driver is C= Beta test version in the library of AmigaTech or AmigaUser. Printer dip switches: all down except for the 8th one on the first bank, and the first two of the second bank. Printer Preferences: Port: Parallel, Paper Type: Single, Paper size: US Letter. FC-II: Release 1, 11/4/92. Page setup: Print Area – Top:0, Bottom: 0.5, Left: 0.25, Right: 0.25. Edit Area: Top: 0.5 Bottom: 0.75 Sides: 1.0. Size: US Letter. I have ordered FC-II v.2 but have not received it yet. Any suggestions would help! When I get v2 I will let you know if I continue to have the problem… — Dave

Dave, Could you try setting your Paper Feed to Continuous? This option is located in the lower-right corner of the Print A Document requester. Let me know if it helps. Ric Fischer – SoftWood Tech Support Phoenix, Arizona, USA – (602) 431-9151
