Are ther anyplans to upgrade Superbase Pro 4 to the current levels as Superbase Pro 2 for windows? I thought I had heard there was some type of cross-platform agreement between Oxxi and SPC. Is this true? Is anyone working on a util to convert windows form files to something readable with the Amy version? What are the current development plans for Superbase Pro 4? Any substantial upgrades in the near future? Inquiring minds want to know! I just returned from the Superbase area of the SPC forum and am extremely jealous of what they are doing with SB! One of these days I am going to break down and buy a clone. (ok just kidding…. (for now)). …Steve ====>>> Motorola 68030 Inside <<<====

Steve, It appears that Oxxi is way too understaffed to keep up with the PC version of the software. It seems they are now working on AGA compliance for the next release of SuperBase Pro 4. I guess I want that as SuperBase really doesn't understand the video modes on my A4000 at all. I just wish that Amiga owners would buy SuperBase Pro 4 so that there might be enough money to motivate Oxxi to support the package better. Poor Mike Ulman is clearly swamped.

Steve, We are working hard on SBase4. Currently trying to get a bugfree version of the Personal line. We are having problems with compatibity with the Windows version. Many of the new features of SB on Windows are really extensions of the Windows OS. Those features will not be implemented. We are concentrating on supporting the AGA chipset, fixing bugs, and adding more Amiga like interface. I hope I have told you what you needed to know. Thanks, Mike Uman

Mike, Hi. I left you a message the other day and didn't receive a response. I'd like to know the following: 1) What is the latest version of SBase4? 2) A registered user has offered to sell me his version of SBase4. His name is Don Alder. If I buy it, will I be able to transfer the registration of the program to my name and be eligible for updates? Thanks for your help. Dom Fontana

Mike, Thanks for the info about SBase Pro 4. What would be the cost, if any, to upgrade from V1.01 to V1.2. Also, when you left the phone number, you listed (31) as the area code. Is this correct? Thanks. Dom Fontana –> Sent from NY via AP <–

Is the current Amiga version of Superbase file level compatible with the Superbase V2.0 on the Windows platform?
