I just recently installed a Flicker Free II Video in my A2000 and an SVGA card
for my BB 286. I'm displaying both of these on an NEC 3D monitor. After a few
days of cable swapping back and forth I bought a 15 pin AB switch box.
Since installing the switchbox I am now seeing a slight shadow effect on the
AMIGA screen, particularly when displaying dark letters on a light background.
I assume this is some type of interference from the switchbox or the extra
cable from the box to the FFV. Does anyone have any suggestions on a possible
solution? (I seem to remember reading somewhere that not all extension cables
are of top quality for video signal transmission). The VGA screen doesn't have
this problem
Also when I switch back and forth between the Amiga and the VGA card, there is
a very brief display of the image, then the screen goes black for about a
second and then the image is displayed again. Can this switching back and
forth cause any harm to my monitor?
