OK, I give up! How do you tell FC2R2 NOT to print in landscape mode automatically? Consider the following: I have a custom paper size set up as 9" wide by 4.125 high. I have a HP DeskJet 500 printer that can print envelopes which are fed in to the printer with the long (Top) edge first. I used the above settings with great success with FC2R1. Now, FC2R2 INSISTS on printing my envelope in landscape mode which means that the address prints rotated ninety degrees which is less than useful since most of it does not print on the envelope! I can get around this by making the vertical dimension bigger than the width dimension but this makes it darn hard to tell when you've run off the bottom of the envelope! Thoughts?!? -J

Gee – I guess I lucked out. My ARexx macro to print envelopes on my DJ+ still works with FC2R2. My biggest problem is getting the DJ not to consume the envelopes. Now if I had a HPIII and FC was refusing to do envelopes landscaped, I would be peeved. Bob

Jay – > I have a custom paper size set up as 9" wide by 4.125 high. Make "Page Settings" 8.5 wide and 4.125 high. Hopefully this will start printing all the way to the left, and stop short on the right. It's unlikely you will need to run print all the way to the right edge of an envilope anyway. Of course, if you're NOT lucky, your print will start with a wide left margin and go all the way to the right…. <g> . . . . JimDoc, on AutoPilot
