Bryan, My BSR drive from DAK seems to be temperamental toward audio CD's. One it won't play at all, others play ok but it cuts off the ends of some songs. All of these discs play fine on my 4-year-old brand-x $79 Cd player. Have you encountered this problem before? Any idea what could be causing it? Thanks. Mark (long-time satisfied DAK customer, BTW)

Mark, I'd suggest trying a few more audio CDs and if you still have problems, call customer service. I haven't had any problems reading the audio CDs with my external drive. I use the PLAY and PLAYBACK software both at home and at work. There is also a chance that you may have some other software (such as a TSR/driver) that doesn't co-exist well with the PLAY/PLAYBACK utilities. You might try booting with a minimum system to see if that eliminates the problem. Bryan/DAK
