Don, Nancy Devitt suggested you as a resource. I have installed a A2386SX BB and a PVGA 1B card in my Amiga 2000. Everything apparantly works except I can't get a mouse. With the VGA card in there is no cursor on the Dos Shell screen. With the VGA card out there is a cursor that will respond to the keyboard arrows but not to the mouse. I added Janus to the path in AUTOEXEC.BAT file as well as AMOUSE and ATIME. On startup there is no "mouse active" title bar. If I run Amouse I get a message that there is already a mouse driver installed and then the "mouse active" title bar appears on the amiga screen (and it will switch between the two ports with left Amiga-P toggle). I also removed AMOUSE form the AUTOEXEC.BAT file and ran it after boot, curiously I still get the message "mouse driver already installed". I would be grateful for any help you can provide. David

David, Not sure I can help you. I can tell you what my suspicions are, but I have no way to test things. I suspect your problem is much like the AREAD and AWRITE problems. Try doing this..put amouse back in your autoexec.bat file. Then, on the Amiga side, create a 2 line script file that reads like this: PCRESET BINDDRIVERS Call it reboot.pc or whatever you want, make the file executable via the PROTECT command: PROTECT reboot.pc +S (or whatever you called it) Now, from a CLI type REBOOT.PC and after it's done, go back to the PC side and see if you now get the mouse active title bar. As to your VGA card can't help you other than to suggest you turn off the Amiga video modes in PCPrefs and on the BB if it's got a jumper to disable the default video mode. Don
