_love_ to have the 3ds docs in ASCII form–and they invariably wear eyepatches.

What does this mean? My suggestion, is to have an ASCII version of the 3DS
manuals. So I could search and read it on my screen.

They are scared "pirates" would have access to the docs in a easily
reproducible form. This is left over from the early eighties psychotic fear
that the whole world will maddly copy everything and nobody will get paid for
their efforts writting software. While ilegal copies do exist, it's ludicrous
to think that software of this level would be used professionaly by people that
makes use of ilegal copies.
