Is It Sally or Mark….
Niiiicccceeee system and you got one like it at home???? Well If I can
ever save some money I'll start equiping at home It seems the best way of
experimenting.. albeit costly way.. I still am waiting for my ATC to go for the
$50 upgrade to ANI 1.3…And besides I was told today that t takes a month for
the college to process an order!! I mean just get it out the door. and then
you have to wait for the material…
My condolences on the budget cuts.. I guess no one votes NDP next time
eh? I have never figured out the Ontario system. How do the colleges fit into
grade 13 high school and University. Is it purely technical training. BTW we
as in the midists of a suposed restructuring of the CEGEP (college) system here
in Que. but what they have announced thus far seems like a joke.
We haven't gotten into detailed configuration yet we are just
ballparking. Our priority is to create a lab for teaching MM as well as having
one system that could do the whole shooting match. Hopefully live video,
animated 3ds, sound and music, still images with photo retouchnig. One of the
ideas that Nancy Fulton presented at our MM session in SC was the idea of
providing the services. Hey ya got all this expensive equiptment sitting around
and If someone needs it… rent to to them! The idea of actually renting the
whole lab say to someone who needed to render an animation of say 1000-2000
frames, overnight. Doesn't cost you anything and it would have to be a god send
for them….
Thanks for the config information this will be helpful as we havn't
gotten quite this detailed as of yet. Sorry I can't recprocate about our setup
so far our setup is my computer and a CD ROM on another that I have occasional
access to, BTW thanks for using Matrox, they are a Montreal Company. Hey!
