Hello all, I left a message earlier about goods and bads about the Video Toaster and the IV24. The main issue was that I would like to keep a flicker free screen…..I've gotten used to it…. However I have just bought a Toaster and in its manual it states not to use Flicker Fixers due to possible distortions it might cause. Someone in this forum suggested that I use the Denise Extender, but that only works with the MICROWAY FF not a CBM 2320 like I have. I love the toaster but hate to think I will have to accept a flicker in LightWave…. Any suggestions from you all on solutions that work with toasters would be appreciated….. Thanks Shawn

i am using a flicker fixer with the toaster and have no major problems-its been running since toaster 1.0-i cannot imagine running lightwave without it ! where exactly in the manual does it say don't use flicker fixers ? i really have to try reading it one day 🙂 (not just the lightwave modeler section….) kevin

Thanks all for your help in that you are useing Flicker Fixers but which ones?? With the 2320 its kicked out of the Video slot by the Toaster. Are you useing a Microway FF and a Denise extender or FFV2 surface mounted to your motherboard. Thanks Shawn

hi shawn, forgot to mention-upon leaving toaster, all of my non high rez interlaced screen programs flicker like crazy ! i have to run a lacer type program to bring them back to normal…very annoying… especially since i used to use a program called setlace which now crashes under 2.1….. kevin
