Gilles, re: your dealers claim about Desktop Library. I talked to the publisher (Walnut Creek) last year and again at COMDEX and your dealer is right. Walnut Creek had some threats about copyright suits that it likely would have won according to lawyers and others who have knowledge of the subject but decided as a small company operating on a minimum profit-level it could not afford to fight in court. At one point they had considered re-issuing the disc with the contentious material removed but others had started similar projects and Walnut, as of last November, had decided to let things lay. I think it is unfortunate, I rather like the disc and think Walnut Creek is a unique and valuable addition to the cd-rom community that has done a lot to help many of us enjoy our drives. But I can understand their position too. Hope that helps to explain somewhat. Cheers!

Jim, Re: Walnut Creek. I agree with your opinion on this publisher – I have their Source Code CD and SIMTEL-20 Archive, and they provide excellent value for money IMHO. Sensible index(es), and no cheap tricks to fill diskspace, like putting extracted, compressed and self-extracting archives on the disk at the same time. Hope to see lots of titles from them in the future. Regards, Gilles
