#CD-ROM for IBM and Mac

I am looking for a CD-ROM that I can move between my IBM clone and my Mac. I
use the CD-ROM during the day with the IBM clone but then my kids want to use
the CD-ROM with the Mac at night.
Anybody know of a CD-ROM setup that would let me move the CD-ROM from an IBM
clone to a Mac?

You'd probably need a SCSI CD-ROM drive and SCSI adapters for the PC clone and
Mac. Since the drivers depend on the adapter, not the drive (at least for the
clone), any SCSI CD-ROM should do. Make choice on other features. For the
clone, I'd recommend an Adaptec or Future Domain SCSI controller – they're
supported under OS/2 as well as DOS. Don't know about the Mac.

Are you wanting to move the CD-ROM player or are you looking for a CD-ROM disc
that you can use both places?
The player will need to be SCSI for both systems. Adaptec makes the best board
for the clone (IMO). I'm not sure which drivers are needed for the Mac but I
_think_ drivers for most drives come with the CD-ROM Toolkit for the Mac.
Vendors supply the rest. You may have to request a second set of drivers from
the place where you purchase the player.
