Accent? What accent?
Actually I am an Australian living in Germany forthe 1st year of 2 years, so my
local contacts (and accent) approach zero. Compuserve is the only way I keep in
touch!
There are also quite a few others (in the Win NT forum) hunting after the same
Sony CDU31A driver that I am, and I have pointed them towards this forum as
well as Chuck Roman.
It sounds like Sony are doing a better than job than Mitsumi, who have decided
not to make an NT driver for one of their common proprietary interface CDROMs
(as Mitsumi say they will be writing a driver only for their SCSI CDROM).
There are many disgruntled Mitsumi owners. To try and push Mitsumi they have
made up a list of 10-15 people and faxed Mitsumi expressing their feelings!

Hmm. Well, I can understand that as I've put together a list of 50 or so people
who are going to voice their displeasure at the poor support Sony has offered
us so far. In fact, Chuck Roman's post is the first time I've seen anything
like an acknowledgement from Sony that they even CARE about NT drivers. And
I've been ringing phones, dialing BBS's, etc. for the better part of a year!
