#Share CD-ROM IBM & Mac

I am looking for a CD-ROM that I can move between my IBM clone and my Mac. I
use the CD-ROM during the day with the IBM clone but then my kids want to use
the CD-ROM with the Mac at night.
Anybody know of a CD-ROM setup that would let me move the CD-ROM from an IBM
clone to a Mac?

Only SCSI drives will work on Macs and PCs both. Macs have drivers for Sony
CDU-561-25 (inquiry: CD-ROM 8002). The place you buy the drive from should
have Mac drivers for it if it's not a "real Apple CD-ROM". On the PC side, you
can get an Adaptec or other SCSI adapter and use their CD-ROM drivers or
Corel's.
Whatever your choice, make sure you can get drivers for both systems you are
installing in.

I use the same CD on both. Both IBM and Mac are on the same SCSI bus along
with the CD ROM drive and a tape drive. You just have to make sure that the
drive has software support for both platforms. Obviously I cannot use the Mac
and PC at the same time! (I have them hooked to the same monitor anyway via an
A/B switch).
