I have an NEC CDR-74 CD-ROM drive that I purchased as part of NEC's Multimedia
package that comes with a combination CD-ROM adapter and Pro AudioSpectrum
sound board. I already own a SoundBlaster Pro that I think I'd like to use
instead of the combo board that came with the drive.
Can anyone recommend a relatively inexpensive adapter that I can use with the
NEC 74? I've tried a Trantor T-130 but there appears to be a problem with that
adapter running on my pc (a Gateway 2000 486/33). Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.
