Jack, We'll find out the fate of our medical futures soon enough. It seems to me that we've been paying through the nose for medical services and medicine. Maybe patent laws can be changed to open up competition if the government has been financing all this medical research in the first place. Somebody in Congress needs to investigate this, but don't count on it. Paul

Paul, I am self-employed and with a pre-existing condition. Blue Cross is currently getting me for $1095 a MONTH for coverage for me and my family and I can't switch because nobody else will take me. It's about at the top range that I can handle (but it only takes 1 big hospital stay to wipe out the investment) but the alternative is to take lower coverage while knowing that if I do I can't go back up again (pre-existing, etc.). So if you wonder why I'm rooting for Clinton….
