I also have a Supra V32bis & use GPfax software. I have had no trouble
with it. I'm not always thrilled with what I receive…very bit mappy
pictures & hand writing, making them hard to read. GPfax is fairly easy to
set up & use..I'm a living example <G>.
Let's see..there's English tea & Irish smoked salmon…just kidding!

GPfax is the one I'd like to avoid because of the 'blocky' output.
Trapfax, so I've heard is supposed to be far superior to GPfax, I'm trying
at the moment to get a demo version and exact specifications (e.g. Silent
Answer and BBS support).
By the way, Norwegan samlmon is better. Happy Easter!

So far I've had good output from GPfax, but then I don't have anything to
compare it with <G>. I need a special switch for my old answering machine
& I'll have silent answer also, I hope.
You haven't lived till you've had homemade whole wheat Irish soda bread,
cut very thin, spread with sweet butter, with very thin slices of Irish
salmon, chopped onions, a squeeze of lemon and some voka!!!

In case it's not in your manual, the adapter you need is part #43-107
from Radio Shack and costs $7.95.
You seem to an expert on Irish food, but vodka with it? Not Tullamore
Dew or something like that? Have you ever been to Ireland, or are there a
lot of Irish people living in your part of the world? Anyway, I don't
believe anymore that you were just kidding when you mentioned I could send
you some salmon. You'll just have to wait until we've moved to our new
house near Cardigan Bay, not far from a ferry port to Ireland. The only
problem is: how do I get it to you fast enough, before it comes alive
again?

That special switch you need – "Voice/Data Guard – Teleprotector", part
number 43-107, price US$9.99, is listed on page 77 of the US Radio Shack
catalog.
Not listed in the Canadian Radio Shack catalog, so am planning to pick one
up at the end of the month (IF I remember!).
As to your Irish soda bread, all I can say from your description, and
keeping in mind I am supposed to be half Irish – Yeuck!
