I am exploring the possibility of setting up a 3DS Special Interst Group in the United Kingdom. I am a long standing AutoCAD user, and serve on the Autodesk User Group UK committee. AUGUK was, until January this year, the AutoCAD User Group, which is why 3DS users may not have heard of us before. Is such a group were to be succesful, it would need enthusiastic 3DS users to run it. Initially, I would like to hear from users who would like to join such a group, or help run it. I would also like to hear from companies who could host meetings. I can ensure that 3DS SIG meetings get publicity in News.dxf, CADdesk and CAD User. De Smet Emmanuel, I can send you no details yet, because the 3DS Special Interest Group is not yet formed. The Autodesk User Group United Kingdom is calling for anyone with an interest in a 3DS (and Animator) Group to come forward so such a group can be set up. If you send me your name, address, phone and fax by email, I will add you to the new group's maining list. I will send you an invite to the first meeting (in June?) and details of the SIG once it is formed. Andrew
