Craig, >> are your courese authorized or endorsed by autodesk?<< We are what is called an MTS (Autodesk Multimedia Training Specialist). We have small classes and can train up to 5 people in each class. We will be expanding our training room probably this summer and will add a few stations at which point we will become a MTC (Multimedia Training Center). To get the designation of MTS, we had to submit course descriptions, outlines and course colladeral materail. We also listed the resourses available for instruction such as computers, frame buffers, video equipment, instructor profile and experience, etc. The last set of classes we instituted an evaluation form for both the 2-day intro and the 3-day advanced … we got all high marks from the students. We feel pretty good that we are offering good "bang for the buck" with our courses. All our courses are hands-on, small classes (5 students max) and are project oriented (concepts are taught though application .. not recitation). The 2-day intro class is a basic orientation class intended to "jump-start" the discovery process of an individual new to 3DS or 3D modeling. It covers all the basics. Each module is explored. The 3-day advanced class has either 6 months of 3DS use or our intro course as a prerequisite (or equivalent course). The course basically dives deeper into the each program .. showing short-cuts, and ways to get the most out of 3DS .. for those who already know the basics.
