Does anyone know of any Physics programs that interfaces with 3D-Studio that allows for input of mass/velocity/direction to calculate motion and interaction of other objects. Dynamic Motion Module by Positron Publishing may have established this capability for 3D-Studio. Does anyone have Positron Publishings' phone number or address. Thank You

Positron Publishing's number is 1 800 365 1002. At this time they are still developing the 3DS version of their Dynamic Motion Module. We just got the Lightwave 3D version of it where I work and it's still a little buggy. But when I does work it's really awesome. I think that the 3DS version will be easier for the programmers to make because of the IPAS Software Developers Kit and the way that IPASes are in general. But then again I am not a programmer (nor an architect <g>). Positron seems to hope for the DMM to be out this fall as far as I can tell. Later! -Paul Wesberry paul3dnm8r@aol.com

Hi George, You may also wish to check with the folks at Knowledge Revolution… their "Working Model" program exports physically-based data in a variety of formats, including Wavefront, Macromedia Three-D, and tab-delimited text. One of those would likely be translatable into a format you can use. Working Model's designed for both engineers and animators, and is pretty durn wild. You can reach the KR people at 415 553 8153.
