#Choice Error?

I have gotten an error message that pops up every now and then that says
ERROR:CHOICE COUNT 415. It has an OK button but when ever I hit OK the number
keeps growing. Finnaly I have to restart my machine.
Has anyone had this problem before and knows what causes this.
My machine is a AT&T Pentium, with 64 meg of ram and a 500 meg hard drive.

Is this from within 3ds3?

I had that error message come up last year, when I first installed 3DS. I went
on a major memory conflict hunt, and haven't seen the message since, although
that could be a coincidence.

I cannot find this error. There are some messages which have the word CHOICE
in them, but nothing I can see that says CHOICE count.
Could you be more specific about how you encounter this? Are you running 3DS3?
Have you loaded a file? Which module are you in? Can you duplicate the
experience on purpose? Etc.

I am running ver. 3. It happens maily when I am in the keyframer. Corection
on the error message, it says "ERROR:CHOICE 415"

Sounds like a 3D Studio error, but I don't know the reason it would occur.
Perhaps Gary would care to comment.
You say it happens in the keyframer. Are you able to do something specific to
bring this error up? Or is it something like mouse movements will bring it up?

Unfotunatly I cannot recreated on demand. It just happens sometimes.
Ill try re-installing the program. Hope that woks.

It sounds like a corrupted 3ds.res file. Try reinstalling it from the original
disks.
