Well I take it back, I WAS homesick for Australia until I went computer
shopping yesterday… I got a 486/25 notebook, 4MB RAM, 120MB hard disk etc.
for US$1600. In a feeding frenzy I then bought a multimedia kit (CD-ROM, Sound
Blaster Pro, scads of software) for the Big Guy, plus a pile of el cheapo HD
disks at 0.40 each…
(Daniel who? I'm sorry, I'm busy configuring my big new honkin' buffed out
multimedia rev-em-up extravaganza.)
