I understand that you are the new SYSOP of this forum. Glad to have
you here, and I hope you stick around for a while.
I work for the Cataloging Distribution Service of the Library of
Congress. I am actively involved in the development of LC's CD-ROM
products, i.e. CDMARC Subjects, Names, and Bib. If any questions come up
on these, I will try to help out. Just to keep the record straight though,
I am here on my own dime, and not in any official capacity. Management
wants it that way.
If you could tell me a little bit about your background and prior
experience, I would appreciate it.

What titles has Lib of Cong published? Are they available through mail
order for overseas sales? I am particularly interested in anything dealing
with Japan. Like all correspondence between MacArthur, Pentagon and the WH.
Stuff like that. Also, extremely interested in economics. Years and years
of statistics going back to 1900.
