Hello! I just joined the forum because I grew tired of asking my buddy Bob (Michie) to ask questions for me. So, let me ask my first question. We have begun making our own CD-ROMs. We're using Sony's premastering software (such as it is). Everything was fine for our first few discs since they were all under 300MB. But now we're at the point where we need to cut a full CD (550MB+ [we're using 63 minute media]) and I can't figure out how to do it on a Netware 2.2 lan. As you know, Netware 2.2 has a 255MB volume limit (although you hang GB size drives off a server, Netware will slice up the drive into 255MB chunks [volumes]). But Sony's softoff ware requires that all the files to be placed on the CD reside under a single directory structure – they cannot be on multiple drives. I had hoped DOS JOIN and SUBST would be the ticket, but they can't be used in a network environment. So… What can I do short of a) buying a new premastering package for $,$$$ or b) buying yet another 660MB hard disk for $,$$$ (it will be our 4th one in 4 months!) or c) buying Netware 3.x for $,$$$.
