Anyone interested in a 3D Studio users' group in the Orlando, Florida area let me know. We are also working on getting a local BBS started.

I would be interested, I live in Tampa and go to School at Erwin Votec. for ACAD training. I own and use 3ds and a local 3ds BBs would be great but I don't think I could make it to Orlando for meetings.

Richard, How about right here in Tampa? We meet every third Monday of the month from 7:00 P.M. to whenever. I'll put you on the mailing list. How do you like the ACAD instructor at Erwin? I went there before this guy arrived. I met him once when he brought a truckload of students to our office to see "the real world". He appears to be pretty sharp.

Timothy: I have heard of the group but have not had time to make it to a meeting yet, I'll be out soon I hope. I am still down stairs in the Drafting Labs using Gen Cad at Erwin, I'll be upstairs in the CAD lab next quin. I have met Gus Paris a few times and all the Instructors seem to know alot of ACAD and I here they have 3dsR3 now but I don't know if they can show me anything new. I hope to make it out to a meeting soon and make some "real world" contacts, I am new to this field and after 7 years at WTMV I needed a change. But things are coming along and its good to be working for something I have always wanted to do.

Richard, WTMV, huh? Then you must be best friends with Mike Pachelli, right? If they have 3ds at Erwin, I'm gonna have to drop by there and hand out some flyers for the users group. BTW, the next meeting will be on May 16, so mark your calender. tjl
