#Output to video
3 messages in this thread
Has anyone been using Personal Animator or Bit Blitzer etc… My goal
is to record direct to tape from disk. The finished products will be
ultimately VHS, 5-10 mins. in length. It would be nice to output the
finished frames myself without the expense of a costly service bureou
or purchace a single frame accurate (GASP!) Beta deck. I talked with
someone who had good luck with PerAnim on an Amiga. I'm using 3DS-3
on a Dell P60 PCI/ISA. My present HD is a 1gig SCSI interanl. Any
replies would be greatly appreciated.
I can only tell you, William, that if you wish to take full-frame,
full color, 60 field-per-second animation out to composite, SVHS, or
component video with an exellent JPEG implementation, Digital
Processing Systems' Personal Animation Recorder for the PC should
make you quite happy.
Hi William, I'm in the middle of testing a Bit Blitzer. I will
probably send a message to ALL by Monday or Tuesday describing my
results. I've heard that the PAR is nice, but does have some
noticable compression… but I don't have any first hand knowledge of
that. Give me a ring if you are really interested, 404-355-1662 -Rob
