I am with the Autodesk Customer Education & Training group and here are a few more ideas for you. Terence has several books that he writes for Goodheart Wilcox and there are several other text book authors that will likely jump in here. If you would like a complete listing of all the books, videos, tapes, etc. available for Autodesk products, as your local dealer for a copy of "In Print" our brochure that lists all of these. Additionally you might be interested in some complimentary materials that we produce under the Learning Resource Series (LRS). The product training type of material consists of hands on exercises that many instructors are using in conjunction with their own materials or courseware or textbooks that they use. Your dealer can also order these for you. Re the testing and "diagnostics", my group also manages the Autodesk Certification & Testing programs that include the AutoCAD Exams (Level I and Level II) For more information on these you can call 1-800-995-EXAM.
