3D Glasses
4 messages in this thread
Anyone,
Does anybody know anything about producing 3D video, so that when you put 3D
glasses on, it will look like its coming at you in space? I heard you can
capture video and then produce that effect using Crystal Graphics. Can you do
something in 3D Studio or do you need special cameras to do this? Any help,
whatsoever, is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike C.
Michael,
There are a whole series of files and sample images that deal with stereoscopic
viewing. Do a file search on the key word STEREO and you will find a fount of
information.

Mike,
My company is a dealer for both CrystalEyes and 3DS. I wrote a little "white
paper" on how this is done in 3DSr3 as well as a sample files for import into
your scene. The file is called CRYSTL.ZIP and CRYTGA.ZIP (large file with
sample files in it). I uploaded it a while ago and am not sure if it is
available yet for download (Lib #9
. What's New).

This file contains a "white paper" on how to produce CrystalEyes
compatible ste completely from within 3DS r3. Also contained are .3DS and
.VP files so that y import them into your animation project and away you
go!. Demo TGA files refer "white paper" are in CRYTGA.ZIP (also
uploaded). This shows just one way to do and we are working on even
easier and more effective ways.
