I missed the beginning of this. Are you running a screenblanker on the Amiga
side? Try disabling it…

Nope, Not running a screenblanker on the Amiga side.
What happens on the PC side is that my keyboard will no longer send to the PC
side. It's like somebody unplugged the keyboard. This is a ramdom problem,
and seems to happen mainly when I type fast or hold down a key for repetition.
The PC does not crash itself and keeps on running whatever was running when I
lost the keybaord. But without a keybr, I have no choice but to reboot. So I
go over to the PC drawer on the amiga and do a PCReset. That will reset the BB
and my keybr will be working again. I have checked the basics, like making sure
I'm in the PC window etc. I have tried closing the window and opening it again.
I think once I do that.. I can no longer close PC window., I'm not sure about
that though, has happend a few times… not sure if my keybr was frozen at the
same time.
I'm running an amiga 2000 with GVP series II and 6 megs ram. On the PC side, I
have an internal modem set for COM 4 with the IRQ changed for something else,
cuz the default was already being used. And I have an Adlib Gold sound card
installed.
BTW, is there a way to use my amiga memory with the BB? I only have one meg
right now.

There's a program (PD or shareware) called, I think, AmigaEMS, which purports
to share the Amiga's memory, but it's very slow, I've been told. Most people
who try it decide to buy extra memory instead.
The keyboard–I've had similar problems, both the BB and the Golden Gate–the
keyboard hangs up, then after 30 seconds or so it bolts until I press a key.
You're the only other person who's reported it. Do you by any chance have an
early 2000–one of those early keyboards, the ones where you have to press the
first key twice (unless you've done the fix for it, which I never got around
to)?

My motherboard is a 6.2 version. So I don't think it's one of them early
keyboard problems (never heard of them until now).
I don't use my bridgeboard for much at the moment. But I wonder sometimes if I
should do any important work on it. If the keyb dies on me in the middle of my
work… I won't be too happy.
Well, I guess if I'm the only one having the problem, I'll have to find the
solution myself. Too bad.
