My Quamtum 210 is exhibiting a problem. It continually produces read/write errors. I have even gone so far as to re-low level formatted it and when copying my files back over, the requester box (read/write error) still pops up. The drive is about 4 months old and this is the first problem I've had with it. I am assuming it has a bad block (or more), but don't know how to go about mapping it/them out so that the drive will be usable again. Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Allen

Your hard drive formatting program should have testing routines; what do they show? Most hard drive utilities have block remapping functions, so unless you have a real lame HD utility you should be able to get going once you figure out how your utility works.
