Meanwhile, I have a dumb question that you could help by answering.
The 3D object file I using as the repeatable test case is called AcesHigh,
which is on your Avalon disk as "objects/tddd/aces_high.tar.z". Both your
3D-ROM disks use "landis/AcesHigh/AcesHigh" as the Catalog of Models listing
format example. Yet I have not found a landis directory on either 3D-ROM or
3D-ROM volume II. Widnows File Manager SEARCH for "AcesHigh.*" found no file on
either 3D-ROM disk or the Avalon disk. I've individually looked inside imagine
and most other directories. Where is "landis/AcesHigh/AcesHigh"? It would be
real interesting to compare your uncompressed unpacked version with the Avalon
"objects/tddd/aces_high.tar.z" that is my test case.
