Is there any way I can get more fonts for Autodesk Animator V 1.01? If so, where can I find them. Is there an utility that allows me to create my own fonts? Any help on this will be greately appreciated.

Armando, Autodesk Animator does not support additional fonts. Autodesk Animator Pro supports the use of Adobe type one fonts. To find a dealer of AAPRO in your area, call 800 -964-6432 -brian

>Autodesk Animator does not support additional fonts. About six months after I got Autodesk Animator 1.01, I received a package in the mail from autodesk. It was called "Bonus Pack" and it was a bunch of additional fonts for Animator on two 720kb floppies. They installed and worked fine. ( the number on the disk is 1959-D7-AN-BSF-V ) David Camp

I consider those bonus fonts part of the package. What I meant to say is that you can not import fonts (like adobe fonts or truetype fonts) into Animator. However in Animator Pro you do have the capability to import adobe fonts so you have a virtually unlimited supply. -Brian

Ok, I wasn't sure. but after rereading your original post and trying to think back ( 1992 is ancient history) I realized that the fonts you listed included those on the bonus pack. I didn't mean to imply that you were wrong, I just wanted to point out what I thought, at the time, was a discrepancy. Thanks David

<< I just wanted to point out what I thought, at the time, was a discrepancy. >> Actually this is a fun game that a lot of forum members play. It is called "Catch the Autodesk Technician in a Wrong Answer". <bg> I'd play too, but Autodesk employees are inelegible to win the prizes. -Brian

Brian: >> "Catch the Autodesk Technician in a Wrong Answer". The game would be a lot more fun if all of you would play more often! It's so seldom that we see any errors from you that it gets boring! Greg Pyros

Nik I only have about 14 or 15 fonts. You have a lot more.
